Pierre Guariche Tonneau chair Steiner社製

ピエール・ガーリッシュのトノーチェアです。
Steiner社製です。製造年は1950〜1960年代くらいかと思います。

フランスで初めて成型合板の技術を用いてデザインされた椅子として有名です。
薄い合板で成型されていますので、座ると特有のしなりがあります。こういう仕様ですので、不具合ではございません。

座面に1箇所凹みがあり、突板が削れて下地の合板が見えている箇所がございます。
そこまで目立つものでもないため、このままの状態で販売いたします。パテで補修しても良いですし、塗装で目立たなくしても良いかと思います。

古いものですが、椅子として日常での実用に耐える強度があります。
